News About Jacob

Jacob had his first Eye exam this week. I have thought since he was about one that he had some sort of eye issues but everyone kept telling me that his sight was fine. He even passed an eye test at school. Turns out that he has a worse Astigmatism than I do. Double the astigmatism that I have. So we headed out to get glasses. Granny said to get cute ones, and we did but they are also very bendable. They have hinges at the side as well as a bendable bridge above the nose. We have a year warranty on the frames and paid extra for the poly lenses that are scratch free. So he should be set for awhile. We go back in 6 weeks to see the eye doctor but we are already noticing a big difference! Movies he has seen a MILLION times before he is commenting on things that he should have seen before.... and things like that. It will be a big adjustment for EVERYONE but hopefully this will help him!
