Recent Pics

We are in Minnesota for Ben's Grandpa's funeral. While the rest of the family is at the funeral home finishing the arrangements, I kept the kids and we walked around outside and decided to take some pictures. 40 pictures later...... we have some really good ones!!!!!! I picked out my favorites, although there were LOTS of good ones of Nicole and not so many good ones of Jacob.... I need a class on taking pictures when glasses are involved, since 90% of the time we can't see his eyes and that was with NO flash LOL! Anyways, enjoy!

Softball

STRIKE!

Catcher!

Playing 3rd base!

Nicole and Jenna
They are on different teams but we were a person short, so Jenna played a double header so that we could still play. A terrible ump later, we tied 7 to 7 however we should have won 9 to 7. The girls had fun and that is the most important part! GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!

Moon Lake

We took the kids to Moon Lake today to fish. They fished awhile, played on the playground awhile and had a good time! Jacob kept carrying around the net asking if anyone had caught a fish and needed his help with the net. LOL Here are a few pictures from the day.

Jacobs new favorite thing to do!!!!! Pee on things! He'll hate this picture someday!

Fish Fever

The kids convinced Granny that they needed their own fishing poles. She was happy to oblige! Here they are with Dion's son, Bryce posing with their poles (and net for Jacob.)

Headed to the river to test out their new poles.

Jacob Fishing. He found a rock to sit on but really wanted in the water.

Nicole fishing. She looks like a pro! Appearances can be decieving!

HER FIRST FISH!!!!!! Not a keeper but picture worthy!

Parade

We went to Iowa for Memorial Day. The kids and I were in the parade with my mom. The kids were the "Yolks" of the eggs and my mom was the CHICKEN. She was the hit of the float! There was a drizzling rain that almost kept her from wearing the costume but luckily for her, the rain let up just as we were starting to move so she threw the costume on! I just HAD to get a video of it!!! She'll kill me for posting this but thats ok. It was SO worth it! Nicole ended up walking for most of the parade but it was moving SO fast that I was not able to get a picture of her doing it!
