News About Jacob
Jacob had his first Eye exam this week. I have thought since he was about one that he had some sort of eye issues but everyone kept telling me that his sight was fine. He even passed an eye test at school. Turns out that he has a worse Astigmatism than I do. Double the astigmatism that I have. So we headed out to get glasses. Granny said to get cute ones, and we did but they are also very bendable. They have hinges at the side as well as a bendable bridge above the nose. We have a year warranty on the frames and paid extra for the poly lenses that are scratch free. So he should be set for awhile. We go back in 6 weeks to see the eye doctor but we are already noticing a big difference! Movies he has seen a MILLION times before he is commenting on things that he should have seen before.... and things like that. It will be a big adjustment for EVERYONE but hopefully this will help him!

Chuckie Cheese
We had our first trip to Chuck E Cheese today. We had PLENTY of time to kill while waiting for Jacobs new glasses to be finished. Everyone had a BLAST!!!!

My Birthday- my desk
The tradition at work is to decorate the person's desk for their birthday. It use to be confetti but to save costs and the enviroment we are using shredded paper. WHAT A MESS!!!
Carnival- Safety House
This is the Safety house that they bring around for training. They go into a livingroom and discuss tornado safety and then do a fire drill with real smoke and escape through a ladder! Jacob did so well, I wondered if he would get scared throughout it!

These pictures are for Uncle Dan. LOOK we are already DRUMMERS!!! Nicole could get the foot pedals and still use the drum sticks ALL TOGETHER! I was impressed!!!
Jacob was more impressed with the trumpet and tuba players but I didn't get a picture of that....
First Head Injury
After a trip to the ER, he did not have a concussion but he hit his head hard enough that his body thought it did, and he had all the symptoms for it. He had his first CT scan and he was OK thank goodness!!!
Easter

Thanks to the rain the easter egg hunt was INDOORS..... 80+ eggs in our house to find.....
